1. Turn ignition switch and battery

2. Remove four bolts
(Figure 5, Item 2), washers
(Figure 5, Item 1), and front cover
(Figure 5, Item 3) from machine.

3. Disconnect connector F-C4
(WP 0012, Figure 154) from bowl
up solenoid connector
(WP 0012, Figure 153).
4. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
