1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 1 and terminal 2 of
connector CM-C10
(WP 0012, Figure 28).
3. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
4. At MSD, check for active
110-4 Engine Coolant Temperature
diagnostic code 110-4 Engine
Sensor Voltage Below Normal
Coolant Temperature Sensor
Becomes Active Replace coolant
Voltage Below Normal (WP 0008).
temperature sensor (WP 0220).
Proceed to Test Step 5.
110-4 Engine Coolant Temperature
Sensor Voltage Below Normal Not
Active Proceed to Test Step 4.
Test Step 4. Test Basic Engine
Wiring Harness for High Resistance
or Open.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Do not remove jumper wire from
terminal 1 and terminal 2
of connector CM-C10
(WP 0012, Figure 28).
3. Disconnect connector CM-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 30) from engine
ECM.
