Removal.
Fuel is very flammable and can
explode easily. To avoid serious
injury or death, keep fuel away from
open fire and keep fire extinguisher
within easy reach when working
with fuel. Do not work on fuel
system when engine is hot. Fuel
can be ignited by engine.
(1)
Remove banjo connector screw (1), two
sealing washers (2) and fuel drain line (3)
from fuel shutoff valve (4).
NOTE
Tag and mark all wires prior to
removal.
Screw cup and screw cover may
not be present. Perform Step (3)
if screw cup and screw cover are
present.
(2)
Remove two screws (5) and wires (6) from
fuel shutoff valve (4).
(3)
Using a pliers, distort screw cup (7) and
remove screw cover (8). Discard cover.
(4)
Remove screw (9) and screw cup (if
present) (7) from fuel shutoff valve (4).
Discard screw cup and screw.
(5)
Remove two screws (10) and fuel shutoff
valve (4) from fuel injection pump (11).
Discard screws.
