NOTE
The following procedures can be performed with generator set on or off the flatrack.
Generator set shown off flatrack.
Plug exhaust manifold with wiping rag or suitable material.

Remove four screws (6), lockwashers (7), gasket (8), exhaust pipe (9) and exhaust manifold (10).
Discard lockwashers and gasket.
(7)
Loosen clamp (11) and remove hose (12) from electric fuel pump (13).

Remove overflow tube from coolant surge tank (TM 9-4940-568-20).
(9)
Remove fuel tank vent tube from fuel tank (TM 9-4940-568-20).
