8-32. ENGINE DRIVE BELT TENSIONER REPLACEMENT.
a.
Removal.

Remove screw (1) and remove belt tensioner (2) from engine (3).
b. Installation.
Install belt tensioner (2) and screw (1) on engine (3). Tighten screw to 32 lb-ft (43 N.m).
c.
Follow-On Maintenance:
Install engine drive belt, (Para 8-31).
Connect batteries, (TM 9-4940-568-10).
Start generator and check belt operation, (TM 9-4940-568-10).
