2-24. SLAVE STARTING PROCEDURE.

Ensure CTIS ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position and the LHS selector switch is in
the OFF position on PLS truck while performing the slave starting procedure. Failure
to comply may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
Slave starting is a two person task.
(1)
Start PLS truck (TM 9-2320-364-10).
(2)
Position PLS truck next to the right side of FRS generator (1).
(3)
Shut OFF PLS truck.
(4)
Remove cover (2) from nato slave receptacle (3) on FRS and cover (4) from nato slave receptacle (5) on PLS
truck.
(5)
Connect nato slave cable (6) to PLS truck.
(6)
Connect other end of nato slave cable (6) on FRS nato slave receptacle (3).
