2-25. FILLING HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR.

Hydraulic oil may be hot and cause serious burns.
Clean area before removing filler breather to keep foreign matter out of hydraulic
reservoir and to prevent damage.
When installing breather cap, ensure that tether chain lowers into reservoir hole or damage
to breather cap gasket will result.
NOTE
Boom and outriggers must be in stowed position to attain proper hydraulic fluid level.
At high temperature, oil level should be near minimum mark to allow for expansion.

Remove breather cap (1) from hydraulic reservoir (2).
(2)
Fill with oil (Appendix G) until oil level is between minimum and maximum levels as indicated in the sight
glass (3).
(3)
Install breather cap (1) on hydraulic reservoir (2).
