Tighten or loosen adjustment bolt (7) until distance of 37.00 1/8 inches (93.98 ±0.32 cm) can beobtained between front of rear outer wheel (8) and front of front outer wheel (9). Tighten bolt (6).CAUTIONEnsure that track-belt alignment and adjustment screws, located on each side ofthe frame group, are tight prior to operation. Failure to tighten these screws willallow the front and rear frame assemblies to move freely and damage the trackbelt.2.Connect towing vehicle to trailer (refer to TM 9-2330-205-14&P).NOTETrailer must be stopped in a straight line without making any steering correctionsor else belt alignment procedure will be affected.3.Tow trailer (4) forward in a straight line on hard level surface for at least 100 feet (30.5 meters), then carefully stopin a straight line. While towing, observe position of track belt guide blocks (5) as track belt (2) revolves around thefront and rear, inner and outer tire assemblies (3, 9, and 8).4-38
