CAUTION
If flywheel is to be removed without dis-
mantling of the governor control link-
age, ensure that the throttle lever is
placed in the FULL LOAD position. Dam-
age may occur to the control linkage If
throttle lever is not at FULL LOAD posi-
tion.
Support flywheel (1) so when it is loos-
ened from the crankshaft the flywheel
will not fall. Damage to flywheel may oc-
cur should it fall.

Install slotted cross block from puller kit over end
of crankshaft and secure to flywheel with two hex
head capscrews (Metric, M10 x 75 mm long) in
two opposed threaded holes in flywheel (1).
Tighten the two capscrews alternately until fly-
wheel breaks loose from the crankshaft. Remove
slotted cross block and capscrews.

Remove the flywheel (1) from crankshaft.
3.
Remove the flywheel key (2) from key slot in ta-
per of crankshaft.
