NOTE
• wire harness (12V or 24V) to tow vehicle is disconnected.
• fuses and resistors are removed and replaced in the same manner.
• all wires before removal to aid in installation.
• to Appendix H for electrical schematics.
a. Removal
(1)
Remove four screws (1) and junction box cover (2) using a flat tip screwdriver.
(2)
Remove two nuts (3), star washer (4), and resistor (5) using a 3/8 in. socket and drive.
(3)
Remove two nuts (6), tag and remove wires (7), and circuit breaker (8) using a 3/8 in. socket and drive.
b. Installation.
(1)
Install circuit breaker (8), wires (7), and two nuts (6) using a 3/8 in. socket and drive.
(2)
Install resistor (5), star washer (4), and two nuts (3) using a 3/8 in. socket and drive.
(3)
Install junction box cover (2) and four screws (1) using a flat tip screwdriver.
