INSTALLATION CONTINUED
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support during
procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load
capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Secondary steering gear pump weighs 125 lb (57 kg).
5. Attach nylon lifting sling (Figure 7, Item 3) and lifting device to secondary steering gear pump
(Figure 7, Item 4).
6. Using lifting device and with assistance, install secondary steering gear pump (Figure 7, Item 4) on machine.
7. Install two washers (Figure 7, Item 2) and bolts (Figure 7, Item 1) on secondary steering gear pump
(Figure 7, Item 4).
8. Remove lifting device and nylon lifting sling (Figure 7, Item 3) from secondary steering gear pump
(Figure 7, Item 4).
