4. Using assistance, install chain hoist (Figure 3, Item 1) on lifting link (Figure 3, Item 2) and fork attachment.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Front tire and wheel assembly weighs 1,875 lb (850 kg).
5. Using assistance and suitable machine with fork attachment, move tire and wheel assembly (Figure 3, Item 4)
slightly away from machine to remove bearing (Figure 3, Item 3) from tire and wheel assembly.
6. Using assistance and suitable machine with fork attachment, remove tire and wheel assembly (Figure 3, Item
4) from machine. Lower tire and wheel assembly onto flat surface, position wood blocks under tire and wheel
assembly to prevent rolling.
7. Using assistance, disconnect chain hoist (Figure 3, Item 1) from lifting link (Figure 3, Item 2) and forklift.
8. Using assistance, remove fork attachment from tire and wheel assembly (Figure 3, Item 4).
