WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Front wheel weighs 877 lb (399 kg).
5. Using assistance and suitable machine with fork attachment, install front wheel (Figure 3, Item 6) on front axle
housing (Figure 3, Item 8).
NOTE
It may be necessary to raise or lower front wheel to install bearing on front wheel.
6. Install bearing (Figure 3, Item 5) on front axle housing (Figure 3, Item 8).
7. Install new valve stem (Figure 3, Item 7) from front wheel (Figure 3, Item 6).
8. Using assistance, remove chain hoist (Figure 3, Item 1) from lifting link (Figure 3, Item 4) and fork attachment.
9. Remove bolt (Figure 3, Item 2), washer (Figure 3, Item 3), and lifting link (Figure 3, Item 4) from front wheel
(Figure 3, Item 6).
