REMOVAL

NOTE
The procedures for left and right front wheel removal and installation are identical. Left
front wheel is shown in this procedure.
1. Using assistance, position fork attachment under front wheel (Figure 1, Item 6).
2. Remove valve stem (Figure 1, Item 7) from front wheel (Figure 1, Item 6). Discard valve stem.
NOTE
It may be necessary to raise or lower front wheel to remove bearing from front wheel.
3. Remove bearing (Figure 1, Item 5) from front axle housing (Figure 1, Item 8).
NOTE
Use bolt removed from final drive cover (WP 0292) to install lifting link.
4. Install lifting link (Figure 1, Item 4), washer (Figure 1, Item 3), and bolt (Figure 1, Item 2) on front wheel
(Figure 1, Item 6).
5. Using assistance, attach chain hoist (Figure 1, Item 1) to lifting link (Figure 1, Item 4) and fork attachment.
