WARNING
When raising jacks simultaneously use extreme caution when lifting heavy parts. Provide
adequate support and use assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is
in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only
by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
34. Position two hydraulic jacks (Figure 29, Item 3) on four cribbing blocks (Figure 29, Item 4) under machine.
35. Using hydraulic jacks (Figure 29, Item 3), raise machine and tire (Figure 29, Item 2) and remove stand
(Figure 29, Item 1) from front of machine.
36. Remove two stands (Figure 29, Item 5) from under machine.
37. Using two hydraulic jacks (Figure 29, Item 3), lower machine.
38. Remove two hydraulic jacks (Figure 29, Item 3) and cribbing blocks (Figure 29, Item 4) from under machine.

FOLLOW-ON TASKS

1. Install front axle shaft (WP 0291).
2. Adjust slack adjuster (WP 0176).
3. Start engine and apply brakes (TM 5-3805-296-10).
4. Stop engine (TM 5-3805-296-10).
5. Remove wheel chocks (WP 0454).
6. Verify correct operation of machine (TM 5-3805-296-10).
