NOTE
Gear removed from bearing housing in Step 25 of removal is used as an alignment tool to
align discs in flywheel on Step 4 of installation. Ensure gear is fully inserted into flywheel
and discs. It may be necessary to reposition discs in flywheel to install gear. If the
alignment is not properly set, the bearing housing will not install on the engine.
4. Position gear (Figure 14, Item 1) in flywheel (Figure 14, Item 2).
