NOTE
Tag and mark all wiring harness connectors to aid in installation.
Note wiring harness connector routing to aid in installation.
Note quantity and location of tiedown straps to aid in installation.
1. Slide lock tab (Figure 1, Item 6) to unlock position, press tab (Figure 1, Item 5), and disconnect basic
engine wiring harness connector (Figure 1, Item 1) from coolant temperature sensor (Figure 1, Item 4).
2. Remove tiedown straps (Figure 1, Item 3) from basic engine wiring harness (Figure 1, Item 2). Discard tiedown
straps. Position basic engine wiring harness aside.
