ALTERNATOR BELT REMOVAL

NOTE
Note alternator belt routing to aid in installation.
Note rotation of alternator belt if original alternator belt is to be reused.
Tag and mark wiring harnesses to aid in installation.
1. Remove tiedown strap (Figure 1, Item 3) from negative battery cable (Figure 1, Item 4). Discard
tiedown strap.
2. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 6), washer (Figure 1, Item 1), and ladder clip (Figure 1, Item 5) from cover
(Figure 1, Item 2).
