1. Turn fan speed switch to
position O (TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
3. Remove four bolts (Figure 21,
Item 2) and plate (Figure 21,
Item 1) from headliner (Figure 21,
Item 3).

4. Disconnect connector H-C3
(WP 0012, Figure 250) from fan
speed switch (WP 0012,
Figure 249).
5. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 4 and terminal 6 of
connector H-C3 (WP 0012,
Figure 250).
6. Disconnect connector W-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 224) from
connector H-C7 (WP 0012,
Figure 225).
7. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 37.
