Adjustment.
NOTE
Seal may remain inside cap.
Pressure is adjusted by turing adjustment screw on pump control valve.
Turn adjustment screw either clockwise to increase pressure or
counterclockwise to decrease pressure. One complete turn of adjustment
screw changes pressure approximately 750 psi (5200 kPa).
1. Remove cap (Figure 8, Item 1) and
seal (Figure 8, Item 3) from
adjustment screw
(Figure 8, Item 2). Discard seal.
NOTE
Do not allow adjustment screw to turn when loosening or tightening nut
on pump control valve.
2. Loosen nut (Figure 8, Item 4), turn
adjustment screw
(Figure 8, Item 2) as necessary to
bring pressure into specification,
and tighten nut.
3. Install new seal (Figure 8, Item 3)
and cap (Figure 8, Item 1) on
adjustment screw
(Figure 8, Item 2).
