11. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
12. Release brake system air pressure
(WP 0334).
13. Disconnect quick disconnect hose
(Figure 12, Item 4) from valved
nipple (Figure 12, Item 6).
14. Remove adapter
(Figure 12, Item 2) from fitting
(Figure 12, Item 1).
15. Remove adapter
(Figure 12, Item 3) from adapter
(Figure 12, Item 2).
16. Remove valved nipple
(Figure 12, Item 6) from adapter
(Figure 12, Item 3).
17. Apply sealing compound
to threads of fitting
(Figure 13, Item 1).
18. Connect tube (Figure 13, Item 3)
to fitting (Figure 13, Item 1)
and tighten tube nut
(Figure 13, Item 2).
