Shifts Improperly, or Fails to
Operate in One or More
Hot transmission components can cause injury from burns. Before
performing maintenance on machine, allow transmission components to
cool. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
Always inspect harness connectors that are involved in the circuit. Poor
connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical circuit.
Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean and secure and that all
connections are in good condition. If a problem with the connection is
found, correct the problem and verify that this malfunction or diagnostic
code is active before performing this procedure.
Perform this test only if condition is active.
Test Step 1. Check for Active Codes.
1. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. At MSD, check for active

Wiring Harness and Tractor Actual
Gear Switch for Damage.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Disconnect connector AG-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 120) from tractor
actual gear switch connector
(WP 0012, Figure 119) (WP 0273).
