Test Step 5. Test Fuse Panel Wiring

1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 2 and terminal 3
of connector CG-C14
(WP 0012, Figure 302).
3. Disconnect connector CG-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 283)
from connector W-C8
(WP 0012, Figure 282).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 6.
between connector CG-C1
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
terminal 55 and terminal 67
Replace fuse panel wiring harness
(WP 0012, Figure 283).
(WP 0515).
Proceed to Test Step 9.
Test Step 6. Test Main Cab Wiring
Harness for High Resistance or
Open.
1. Remove jumper wire from
terminal 2 and terminal 3
of connector CG-C14
(WP 0012, Figure 302).
2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 55 and terminal 67
of connector W-C8
(WP 0012, Figure 282).
3. Disconnect connector W-C12
(WP 0012, Figure 88) from
transmission/chassis ECM.
