1. Remove jumper wire from
terminal 1 and terminal 2 of
connector CL-C3
(WP 0012, Figure 86).
2. Disconnect connector W-C12
(WP 0012, Figure 88) from
transmission/chassis ECM.
3. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 7 and terminal 8
of connector W-C12
(WP 0012, Figure 88).
4. Disconnect MSD from connector
CG-C3 (WP 0012, Figure 96).
5. Remove six bolts
(Figure 4, Item 1), washers
(Figure 4, Item 2), and instrument
panel cover (Figure 4, Item 3)
from ROPS (Figure 4, Item 4).
