13. Select Electronic Technician (ET) icon (Figure 16) on MSD screen.

14. Select OK button (Figure 17, Item 2) if What's New dialog box (Figure 17, Item 1) is displayed. ET will attempt
to communicate with all ECMs.
a. If ET detects at least one ECM communicating, proceed to step 15.
b. If ET is unable to detect any ECM, perform Data Link Circuit Test (WP 0177).
