The Military 621G Scraper is an earth-moving machine classified as scraper. This machine is used to cut, load,
transport and grade material through forward motion of the machine. The Military 621G Scraper has two distinct
main components: a tractor and a scraper.
The tractor consists of:
 Engine
 Powertrain
 Hydraulic system
 Two drive wheels
 Operator station
The scraper consists of:
 Two non drive wheels
 Apron - blade used for scraping
 Bowl - collects and holds material
 Ejector - removes grade material from bowl
A 15.2L, six-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine powers the Military 621G Scraper. The semi-automatic
transmission has eight forward speeds and one reverse speed. The Military 621G Scraper is equipped with an air
brake system operating a drum brake at each of the four wheels. The Military 621G Scraper is equipped with three
electronic control modules which control and monitor the major systems of the machine.
