SECTION III. UNIT PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES
(PMCS)
4.7 G E N E R A L .
Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) means systematics caring, inspecting, and servicing of equip-
ment to keep it in good rendition and to prevent breakdowns. As the Floodlight Set technician, your mission is to:
a. Be sure to perform your PMCS each time you use the equipment. Always do your PMCS in the same order, so
it goes to be a habbit. Once youve had some practice, youll quickly spot anything wrong.
b. Do your BEFORE (B) PMCS just before you use the Floodlight Set. Pay attention to WARNING, CAUTIONS,
and NOTES.
c. Do your DURING (D) PMCS while you use the Floodlight Set. During operation means to check the equipment
and its related components while it is being. used. Pay attention to WARNINGSs, CAUTIONs, and NOTEs.
d. Do your AFTER (A) PMCS rightr after using the Floodlight Set. Pay attention to WARNINGs, CAUTIONs, and
NOTEs.
e. Do your WEEKLY (W) PMCS once a week.
