3.10 GROUND ROD.

Flat tip screwdriver, 4-inch (item 7, sect III, appx B)
Ground rod removed (para 2-11).
Personnel Required

STUD
Unscrew collar (1) from rod and remove.
Loosen setscrew (2) and remove ground wire (3).
Slide clamp (4) from rod (5).
Unscrew and remove drive head stud (7) from collar (6).
Replace unserviceble components with serviceable items from stock.
Screw drive head stud (7) into collar (1).
Slide clamp (4) over rod section (5).
NOTE
Be sure ground wire protrudes through damp approximately 1/2-inch (1.27 cm).
Insert ground wire (3) into clamp and tighten setscrew (2).
