Installation.
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can
give off harmful vapors, and are
harmful to skin and clothing. To
avoid injury or death, keep away
from open fire and use in
well-ventilated area. If adhesive,
solvent, or sealing compound
gets on skin or clothing, wash
immediately with soap and water.
(1)
Apply a bead of adhesive to outside
diameter of front oil seal (2).
(2)
Position seal on oil seal installer with front
oil seal (2) dust lip facing outward.
NOTE
Properly support front oil seal
flange to prevent damage to front
oil seal and front gear cover.
(3)
Press front oil seal (2) in front gear cover
(1) from back side of front gear cover
toward front side of front gear cover.
(4)
Press front oil seal (2) until oil seal installer
bottoms against front gear cover (1).

Install front gear cover, (Para 5-14).
