Drain.

NOTE
Position drain pan under drain plug to catch oil.
Air compressor oil capacity is approximately four quarts or 3.8 liters.
(1)
Remove drain plug (1) from air compressor crankcase (2) and let oil drain.
(2)
Install drain plug (1) in air compressor crankcase (2).
b. Fill.
(1)
Remove oil level dipstick (3) and add oil until level reaches bottom thread of dipstick hole.
(2)
Install oil level dipstick (3) in air compressor crankcase (2).
c.
Follow-On Maintenance:
Start generator, (TM 9-4940-568-10).
Start air compressor and check operation, (TM 9-4940-568-10).
