8-18. PRIMARY (IN-LINE) FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT.
a.
Removal.
Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily. To avoid serious injury or death, keep
fuel away from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when working
with fuel. Do not work on fuel system when engine is hot. Fuel can be ignited by hot
engine.

NOTE
Note position of fuel filter prior to removal.

Remove hose (1) from fitting (2).
NOTE
Threaded end of hose does not swivel.
(2)
Remove hose (1) from reducer (3).
(3)
Discard filter (4).
