8-15. FUEL TANK GAGE REPLACEMENT.

Removal.

Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily. To avoid serious injury or death, keep
fuel away from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when working
with fuel. Do not work on fuel system when engine is hot. Fuel can be ignited by hot
engine.
(1)
Remove two screws (1) and washers (2) from fuel tank gage (3).
(2)
Remove fuel tank gage (3) from fuel tank sending unit (4).
(3)
Remove five screws (5), rubber washers (6), fuel tank sending unit (4) and gasket (7) from fuel tank (8).
Discard rubber washers and gasket.
