Materials/Parts
Locknuts
a.
Removal.
(1)
Remove two locknuts (1), two screws (2),
two washers (3), and mount (4) using a 3/4
in. open end wrench, ratchet and 3/4 in.
socket.
(2)
Remove two locknuts (5) using a 3/4 in.
open end wrench.
(3)
Remove motor (6) by pulling out and away
from mount (4)
b.
Installation.
NOTE
Make sure hose connections are
pointing to rear of sweeper.
(1)
Position motor (6) on mount (4), and install
two locknuts (5) using a 3/4 in. open end
wrench.
(2)
Install motor (6) shaft into core shaft (7).
(3)
Install screws (2), washers (3), and locknuts (1) using a 3/4 in. open end wrench, ratchet and 3/4 in. socket.
NOTE
Follow-on maintenance:
Install motor inlet and outlet hoses (para 4-105)
Install motor guard (para 4-116)
