Alternator belt removed.
NOTE
It may be necessary to hold flywheel screw with a ratchet and 24 mm socket to prevent it from turning.
a. Removal Remove six screws (1), six lockwashers (2), and alternator drive pulley (3) using a ratchet, extension
and 13 mm socket.
b.
Installation. Install alternator drive pulley (3), six screws (1), and six lockwashers (2). Tighten using a ratchet,
extension and 13 mm socket.
NOTE
Follow-on maintenance:
•
Install alternator belt (para 4-56)
•
Install rear panel (para 4-98)
•
Install water tank (para 4-121)
