NOTE
Clean exterior of hoses before removal to prevent contamination.
Tag hoses and fittings to aid in installation.
Air conditioning hose connectors are self-sealing. When connector fittings are loosened
and disconnected, internal valves close to seal in refrigerant.
Cap hoses to prevent entry of dirt or debris.
1. Open hood (TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Disconnect two quick disconnect fittings (Figure 1, Item 1) from A/C receiver dryer (Figure 1, Item 2).
3. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 4), washer (Figure 1, Item 5), two clamps (Figure 1, Item 3), and A/C receiver
dryer (Figure 1, Item 2) from machine.
