NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE REMOVAL

1. Position cover (Figure 1, Item 1) aside.
2. Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 4) and lockwasher (Figure 1, Item 3) from battery disconnect switch (Figure 1,
Item 5). Discard lockwasher.
NOTE
If equipped with Arctic Start Aid, perform step 3 through 6. If not equipped with Arctic Start
Aid, proceed to step 7.
Tag and mark all cables to aid in installation.
3. Remove negative arctic start aid battery cable (Figure 1, Item 2) from battery disconnect switch (Figure 1,
Item 5) and position aside.
4. Remove negative battery cable (Figure 1, Item 6) and position aside.
