REMOVAL CONTINUED
69. With assistance, using lifting device remove transmission and differential from machine.
70. Lower transmission and differential to flat surface.
71. Remove lifting device and chain hoist from transmission.
72. Remove three O-rings (Figure 23, Items 1, 2, and 3) from differential. Discard O-rings.

WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Differential weighs approximately 1,000 lb (454 kg).
73. Remove bolt (Figure 24, Item 8) and washer (Figure 24, Item 7) from differential.
74. Install link bracket (Figure 24, Item 1), washer (Figure 24, Item 7), and bolt (Figure 24, Item 8) on differential.
75. Using transmission mounting bolt, install link bracket (Figure 24, Item 4), washer (Figure 24, Item 6), and bolt
(Figure 24, Item 5) on differential.
76. Attach lift chain (Figure 24, Item 3) and lifting device to link bracket (Figure 24, Item 4).
77. Attach chain hoist (Figure 24, Item 2) to link bracket (Figure 24, Item 1) and lifting device.
