BRAKE SHOE REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Use caution when positioning brake shoes. Fingers may get pinched. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
Note size and location of washers and retaining ring to aid installation.
6. Using assistance, pry open brake shoes (Figure 4, Item 2) and slide camshaft (Figure 4, Item 3) outwards.
7. Using assistance, remove slack adjuster (Figure 4, Item 4), retaining ring (Figure 4, Item 5), washer
(Figure 4, Item 6), camshaft (Figure 4, Item 3), and washer (Figure 4, Item 7) from front axle housing
(Figure 4, Item 1).
