DOWNSHIFT SOLENOID REMOVAL

NOTE
Note routing of wiring harness to aid in installation.
Tag and mark wiring harness connectors to aid in installation.
It is not necessary to remove both solenoids. Replace faulty solenoid only.
1. Disconnect transmission wiring harness connector (Figure 5, Item 3) from downshift solenoid
connector (Figure 5, Item 2).
2. Slide downshift solenoid connector (Figure 5, Item 2) forward and remove from bracket
(Figure 5, Item 1).
