4. Install bracket (Figure 24, Item 4) on alternator (Figure 24, Item 7) with washer (Figure 24, Item 6) and bolt
(Figure 24, Item 5).
5. Install positive battery cable eyelet (Figure 24, Item 1) on alternator (Figure 24, Item 7) with washer (Figure 24,
Item 2), new lockwasher (Figure 24, Item 3), and nut (Figure 24, Item 8).

6. Install boot (Figure 25, Item 2) on alternator (Figure 25, Item 1).
7. Connect engine wiring harness connector (Figure 25, Item 3) to alternator (Figure 25, Item 1).
