Test Step 10. Test for Faulty Park
Brake Switch.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Disconnect park brake switch from
connector CG-C11
(WP 0012, Figure 298).
3. Set park brake switch to
disengage (brake off) position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 11.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
terminal 1 and terminal 2
Replace park brake switch (WP 0512).
