Nipple 6V-3989 and quick disconnect hose 177-7861 are from Gauge,

Pressure Kit 1U-5482.
5. Install nipple (Figure 6, Item 4) on
fitting (Figure 6, Item 3).
6. Connect fitting (Figure 6, Item 3) to
hose (Figure 6, Item 1) and tighten
tube nut (Figure 6, Item 2).
7. Connect quick disconnect hose
(Figure 6, Item 5) to nipple
(Figure 6, Item 4).
8. Turn battery disconnect switch to
ON position and start engine. Idle
engine for 20 minutes or until air
pressure gauge reaches normal
operating pressure
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
NOTE
System air pressure must be maintained during test.
DO NOT depress brake pedal during this test.
9. Monitor air pressure on gauge
(Figure 6, Item 6). DO NOT not
depress brake pedal
(TM 5-3805-296-10). Record
reading as control air pressure.
10. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
11. Release brake system air pressure
(WP 0334).
12. Disconnect quick disconnect hose
(Figure 6, Item 5) from nipple
(Figure 6, Item 4).
13. Loosen tube nut (Figure 6, Item 2)
and disconnect fitting
(Figure 6, Item 3) from hose
(Figure 6, Item 1).
14. Remove nipple (Figure 6, Item 4)
from fitting (Figure 6, Item 3).
