Coolant in Engine Oil or
WARNING
Engine Oil in Coolant
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing
maintenance on machine, allow engine and components to cool.
Contact with engine oil can damage skin. Wear gloves when handling
engine oil. If oil contacts skin, wash immediately.
Lubrication oil is slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills.
Failure to follow these warnings may cause injury to personnel.
Test Step 1. Inspect for Engine
Coolant and Engine Oil Mixture.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Remove engine oil level gauge
Engine Coolant and Engine Oil
(Figure 1, Item 1)
Mixture Identified Proceed to Test
(TM 5-3805-296- 10) and inspect
