Sensor Voltage Below
1. Turn ignition switch and battery

disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Remove six bolts
(Figure 3, Item 1), washers
(Figure 3, Item 2), and step
(Figure 3, Item 3) from cab
(Figure 3, Item 4).

3. Disconnect connector W-C31
(WP 0012, Figure 65) from supply
air pressure sensor connector
(WP 0012, Figure 64).
4. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
1431-3 Pilot Air Pressure Sensor
5. At MSD, check for active
Voltage Above Normal Becomes
diagnostic code 1431-4 Pilot Air
Active Replace supply air pressure
Pressure Sensor Voltage Below
sensor.
Normal (WP 0008).
Proceed to Test Step 3.
1431-4 Pilot Air Pressure Sensor
Voltage Below Normal Remains
Active Proceed to Test Step 2.
