1. Remove jumper wire from terminal
1 and terminal 2 of connector AE-
C5 (WP 0012, Figure 145).
2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 1 and terminal 2
of connector E-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 143).
3. Lower left frame access plate
(WP 0376).
4. Remove four bolts
(Figure 4, Item 1), washers
(Figure 4, Item 2), bushings
(Figure 4, Item 3), and splash
shield (Figure 4, Item 4) from
machine.

5. Disconnect connector E-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 140)
from connector W-C3
(WP 0012, Figure 139).
6. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 5.
