diagnostic code 707-5
Up Solenoid Current Above Normal
Transmission Gear Actuator Up
Becomes Active Replace upshift
Solenoid Current Below Normal
solenoid (WP 0274).
(WP 0008).
Proceed to Test Step 5.

Up Solenoid Current Below Normal
Remains Active Proceed to Test

Test Step 2. Test Transmission
Wiring Harness for High Resistance
or Open.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Do not remove jumper wire from
terminal 1 and terminal 2
of connector A-C7
(WP 0012, Figure 114).
3. Disconnect connector A-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 106)
from connector J-C3
(WP 0012, Figure 101).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 3.
between connector AC-C1
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
terminal 4 and terminal 16
Replace transmission wiring harness
(WP 0012, Figure 106).
(WP 0266).
Proceed to Test Step 5.
Test Step 3. Test Chassis Wiring
Harness for High Resistance or
Open.
1. Remove jumper wire from
terminal 1 and terminal 2
of connector A-C7
(WP 0012, Figure 114).
2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 4 and terminal 16
of connector J-C3
(WP 0012, Figure 101).
