1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 3 and terminal 2
of connector CM-C7
(WP 0012, Figure 22).
3. Turn battery disconnect switch to
ON position and start engine
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
4. At MSD, check for active
1785-4 Intake Manifold Pressure
diagnostic code 1785-4 Intake
Sensor Voltage Below Normal
Manifold Pressure Sensor Voltage
Becomes Active Replace intake air
Below Normal (WP 0008).
pressure sensor (WP 0245).
Proceed to Test Step 7.
1785-3 Intake Manifold Pressure
Sensor Voltage Above Normal
Remains Active Proceed to Test
Step 6.
Test Step 6. Test Basic Engine
Wiring Harness for High Resistance
or Open.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Do not remove jumper wire from
terminal 3 and terminal 2
of connector CM-C7
(WP 0012, Figure 22).
