WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Ejector cylinder weighs 550 lb (250 kg).
36. With assistance, install lifting device and nylon sling (Figure 21, Item 4) on ejector cylinder (Figure 21, Item 3).
37. With assistance, using lifting device, lift ejector cylinder (Figure 21, Item 3) from jack trestle (Figure 21, Item 5).
38. Position jack trestle (Figure 21, Item 5) and cribbing (Figure 21, Item 6) aside.
39. With assistance, using lifting device, install cylinder rod (Figure 21, Item 1) on pivot mount (Figure 21, Item 2).
40. Install pivot pin (Figure 21, Item 7) on pivot mount (Figure 21, Item 2) and cylinder rod (Figure 21, Item 1).
