1. Apply grease to pivot (Figure 8, Item 5), install rod (Figure 8, Item 4) and rod pivot on apron lift frame
(Figure 8, Item 1).
2. Install retaining bracket (Figure 8, Item 6), two washers (Figure 8, Item 2), and bolts (Figure 8, Item 3) on apron
lift frame (Figure 8, Item 1).
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Apron weighs 400 lb (181 kg).
Chain hoist is used to balance apron lift frame during removal.
3. With assistance, install lifting sling (Figure 9, Item 3) and lifting device on apron lift frame (Figure 9, Item 1).
4. With assistance, install chain hoist (Figure 9, Item 2) on apron lift frame (Figure 9, Item 1) and lifting device.
