REMOVAL

NOTE
Tag and mark wiring harness connector to aid in installation.
1. Disconnect secondary steering flow switch connector (Figure 1, Item 3) from secondary steering wiring
harness connector (Figure 1, Item 2).
2. Remove secondary steering flow switch connector (Figure 1, Item 3) from retainer clip (Figure 1, Item 1).

WARNING
Hydraulic oil is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills. Failure to follow this warning
may result in injury or death to personnel.
To prevent injury to personnel, wear protective eye covering and gloves.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Cap and plug fitting to prevent leaking and contamination.
Sensor flow direction must be noted during removal. Failure to note flow direction may
cause damage to equipment.
NOTE
Use a container to catch any fluid that may drain from hoses or system. Dispose of fluid
IAW local policy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
3.
Loosen jam nut (Figure 2, Item 1) while noting position of arrow (Figure 2, Item 2), and remove secondary
steering flow switch (Figure 2, Item 5) from hydraulic and steering pump manifold (Figure 2, Item 3).
4. Remove O-ring (Figure 2, Item 4) from secondary steering flow switch (Figure 2, Item 5). Discard O-ring.
